Fortidsminneforeningen is fighting to preserve Norwegian cultural monuments and historical milieus; your membership will help us in this important work.
All the Society's members own its cultural monuments, which are an important part of our cultural heritage. Some of the best known are:
- Urnes, Borgund, Hopperstad and five other stave churches
- Steinvikholm fortress ruin in Stjørdal
- Rein abbey ruin in Rissa and three other abbey ruins
- The Per Amundsa and Rasmus miners' houses in Røros
- The Finnesloftet building in Voss
- Nyholmen Light in Bodø
- Free tickets to most of the properties, including eight stave churches.
- The opportunity to take holidays in the Per Amundsa and Rasmus houses in Røros, where you can stay in historic properties.
The membership fee is NOK 330 a year (NOK 430 if you want the yearbook).
